Pewter Purse Hook

This belt hook was loosely based on a couple of period examples. The hook part is a little shorter than is probably practical, but it was designed so that part of the loop could be cut away and the back part riveted on behind a belt mount. Sand cast with a wooden spacer, polished with 20 and 800 grit sandpaper, followed by 00 and 0000 steel wool. The master was made with Sculpey over a base of 16ga steel.
