Van der Weyden Kirtle & Gown

I started making this dress because Adela was lacking anything really fancy in her wardrobe. I wanted to make sure she had something available just in case she needed it. I had it done with a few weeks to spare for her elevation the the Order of the Laurel.

The kirtle is made of green linen, and the gown is midnight blue silk taffeta trimmed with black cotton velveteen. More details can be found in the posts below.
