This cioppa is based on the figure of Gualtieri from Pesellino’s cassone panels depicting the Story of Griselda. The outer fabric is a lightweight wool suiting. The body is interlined with cotton flannel and lined with lightweight linen, with an extra layer of jute burlap in the pleated body panels. The sleeves are lined with a light grey linen twill. the trim is synthetic velveteen.
