I’m working up a class on hand sewn bodice techniques and in the process making myself a new dress. The Inspiration picture for the dress is Francesco Ubertini: the Preaching of St. John the Baptist. 1520.
The class will not be about how to draft a bodice pattern, but rather how to assemble one by hand. These methods are applicable to many different types of bodices in the 15th and 16th centuries.
