Metalwork

I dabble in a bit of casting and jewelry-making, so here are some projects I’ve done!

Pewter Belt Mounts – Pewter and resin belt mounts for my apprentice belt, done to mimic basse-taille.

Laurel Wreath Medallion for Magistra Alessandra Fioravani – First time I cast anything in brass! I made two medallions for her, one in brass and one in pewter so they will match whatever she wears. I also ended up with some wreaths in pewter that I’ve given to several of my friends.

Pewter Joseon Belt Buckle for Won Chol Daegam – First time trying to mimic repousse and chasing with pewter. A positive was made with sculpey and then cast in sand. I got to hand deliver this in Korea, which was pretty cool!

Laurel/Pelican/Knight Medallion for Duke Thomas Blackmoore – An attempt to made a complex medallion incorporating the regalia from several orders. The medallion unfortunately never fully cast, but I wanted to post it anyway.
