Here are the projects that I have entered in A&S Faires:
Pewter Belt Mounts – A woven belt with metal belt mounts done in the style of basse-taille, a silver and enamel technique, simulated with pewter and resin. Stella Nova, Midwinter 2017.
16th C Joseon Norigae – Knotted Ornament – A decorative knotted ornament using period techniques, but inspired by the Labyrinth Red Tower theme. Handwoven cord on a cord loom, couched gold embroidery, knotwork, and handmade tassels. Entered for Red Tower Labyrinth Challenge, again at Magna Faire 2019.
16th C Joseon Women’s Danryeong – Round Collared Robe with Rank Badge – A women’s robe worn for ceremonies that features two gold painted hyungbae, or rank badges. I redesigned the art to include the birds of two orders that I am a member of, The Order of the Velvet Owl and The Order of the Red Raven. Entered in Kingdom A&S 2020.
