My tablet weaving continues to exhibit weirdness. I tried flipping back the tablets I had strung to the wrong orientation, and that didn’t work. Then, upon a suggestion from someone much more skilled at tablet weaving than I, I tried flipping the other set of tablets to the wrong orientation. That didn’t work either.
Even though I thought the pattern remained the same on the left sides of the front and back of the band, upon closer inspection it has not. So at least flipping the tablets did something, even if it wasn’t the thing I wanted it to do.
I continue baffled, but this has at least gotten me interested in figuring out how to create my own tablet weaving patterns.
