So today, more mundane sewing is on the agenda. I’m making my first Halloween costume for Jude. He was a bit young for Halloween last year, so we just stuck him in some overalls and cowboy boots with a bandanna for a “cowboy” costume at his daycare.
This year, with no prompting, Jude decided that he wanted to be a Panda. So Panda it is.
I decided to use Butterick pattern 3238. The only real adjustment I have to do it to make an extra seam in the body/leg portion to make the legs black.
So far I have the whole thing cut out and I’m off to sew.
Here’s hoping that my 2-year-old still wants to be a panda in three weeks!
