My first foray into Gold Leafing, June 2009.
I made my own gesso using the recipe from this site. It also tells how to make slaked plaster, which was the longest part of the whole process.
The recipe made enough gesso for the rest of my life!
Happily, this scroll was given to my very good friend Odette at RUM on July, 18, 2009.
