You might be wondering why I’m calling this page “Agnes in Annulo,” but the thing is, if you were me, it’d be an obvious choice for the following reasons:
- My name is Agnes Halydaye
- My device’s blazon is “Gules, seven plates in annulo, a bordure quarterly Or and azure”
- I may or may not occasionally have delusions of being a boxer – in a ring!
- I tend to feel like my interests are circular, but not in a bad way. I always seem to circle back to the same topics, but in greater detail and better understanding.
- I am a decently well-rounded individual, literally and figuratively.
I’ve been interested in historical costuming, art, and cooking since I was a small child. The SCA is a fantastic way to nurture these obsessions with plenty of positive reinforcement. Though I briefly played in the East, I’ve been active in the SCA mostly in the Kingdom of Meridies and find it to be home to some of the best people and friends to be had.
