Scroll that I entered in the Meridies Coronation Scribal Challenge.
I won Best Use of Astronomy and Best Elizabethan! (Late period)
When I saw the source, I couldn’t believe the colors were so vivid, but I got excited and did the scroll in two days. Unfortunately, my brush’s bristles were very stiff and it kept lifting the paint off. I also used a mixture of watercolor and gouache and I should have used just gouache.
The award I made it for is the Argent Comet so I changed the comet from yellow to silver.
