Veronica d’Lucca joined the SCA in March 2014. Though her first event was Tourney of the Foxes in August 2013.
Her original interest was sewing. She began sewing right away and made her first dress in time for Jour d’Amour in February 2014 and continues to make clothes for herself, husband, son, and anyone who asks really.
She began dabbling with illumination after Hit List 2014 but didn’t fall in love with it until July when she attended Royal University of Meridies 2014 and has been zealously painting ever since. To date, she has made over 60 scrolls for the Kingdom of Meridies.
Her previous art experience has been an Intro to Art Class her senior year in high school in ’96, where she got to experience a few different mediums (favoring watercolor until she found her true love of gouache).
Calligraphy is the next challenge.
