The wordfame of a woodsman wise:
Bold he bends the bow to shoot,
Fine the fletchings on each shaft.
Our cunning King and clever Queen
Give glory to his noble name:
Aelfric Hort, this day declared
A Brother of the Broken Bow.
By Our word and hand done this fourteenth day of October, in the fifty-eighth year of the Society, being two thousand twenty three by the common reckoning.
