Even though I have plenty of time to actually post everything I need to, I’ve been really slack about it because there is so much stuff that I want to post and I just can’t seem to get around to it all.
My due date for little guy #2 is in two weeks and I’m already on maternity leave because I’ve been feeling so bad lately. I had a whole bunch of stuff planned for today, but haven’t done any of it.
I have finished up the nursery and the baby’s quilt and am already started on my next quilting project. I’ve decided that quilting is pretty good times and I should add it to the list of things that I enjoy doing.

I got a great decal from Amazon, I believe the seller was popdecals. It made me want to decal my whole house.
Lyndsay (my sister) gave me these large 8×10 number cards when Jude was little. I didn’t know wht to do with them then, but I used them on the wall in the new baby’s room. I bought all of the frames at several Goodwills and painted them all bright green.
I made the diaper holder and I’ll post about it on the baby stuff page.
I also made a curtain and the other two number cards are on the other wall. The big missing square is where the baby’s initial is hanging, but we’re saving that as a surprise, so I whited it out for now. I got the big letter from Hobby Lobby. It was gold and I spray painted it white. This nursery has allowed me go through some spray paint.
I also made the curtain/roman shade. It was my first window treatment and it turned out really well. I used a book called Curtains, Draperies, and Shades by Cengage that was really wonderful.Here’s a little cat I made for the baby. I appliqued some easy flowers on it. It is made from the same pattern that I made Jude an owl with previously and it is from scraps from the baby’s quilt. Jude got a new rabbit animal, but I don’t have a picture of it.
Finally, here is the baby’s quilt. It is a small quilt to use for playing on and hopefully he will like it more than Jude likes his quilt. Jude is finally coming around on his quilt since I made this one for the baby 🙂
The back is made with a super-fuzzy material that feels really good.
