Come share your artistic endeavors with your fellow artisans and friends.Judging for the A&S Tournament and Open will be using the Kingdom A&S rules (http://artsandsciences.meridies.org/faire/rules.php). The evening will feature a delicious feast and lively dancing. Click here for the full schedule, class descriptions, and meeting times.
To help things run more smoothly, we recommend that you pre-register your Tournament entries by filling out this form and emailing it to Lady Serafina. Alcoholic entries will be accepted this year, restricted to a designated area of the site.

The event is being held in a beautiful old building. The building is heated, but old buildings are drafty. This is the perfect event to wear your wonderful winter garb without over-heating. Parents please be aware that space heaters will be used in the classrooms, please keep and eye on your little ones.
Directions:
Take your best route to I-75/I-85 through downtown Atlanta. Take exit 248C toward GA-10 E/Freedom Pkwy/Carter Center. Merge onto Freedom Pkwy/GA-10 E. Turn right at Ponce De Leon Ave NE. To park, turn right on the far side of the church and follow the signs.

Sunday Activities:
There will be a regional fighter practice on Sunday at our usual location (Blackburn Park). There will also be a tour of local Indian shops and restaurants (aka a "sari safari") hosted by Baroness Jadi. Details will be available later.
Fundraiser Lunch:
The Incipient Shire of Depedale will providing lunch for $5.00 (menu TBD).

Heavy Fighting for non-fighters - Earl Thomas Blackmoore
Discussing the workings of fighting and fighters to those non-fighting types who are interested and have questions about such things.
How to shop for Eastern Costuming - Lady Margavati
Learn how to look for fabrics, pattern, embellishments, clothing, and other Eastern costume accessories when shopping at different vendors found throughout your area. A good class for those interested in attending the Sari Safari.
Medieval Geometry - Master Rydderech of Caerleon
Learn the ways that those in the medieval times would have figured out the dimensions and measurements needed to complete their projects with this hands-on class.
Dance Class - Seigneur Yves de Fortanier
Particular dances to be determined by survey at the start of class and the number of dancers available. Keep warm, get some exercise, and build up your appetite for lunch all at once!
Sewing 101 - THLady Peryn Rose Whitehorse
Learn the basics of cutting, assembling, and finishing in this 2 hour hands-on class. Inculdes an overview of tools and techniques. Nothing required to bring but a sewing machine and some scrap fabric will be useful if you have it.
Beer Judging - THLord Mikal Isernfocar
Learn the fine art of judging the many different tasty ales you'll find throughout your career in the SCA.
Let's Play a Period Card Game - Seigneur Yves de Fortanier
